More than anything I just wanted a way to remember all of the funny things about everday. Big events are easy to recall, but it's more difficult to remember the details of what makes each day so memorable. Especially with a curious little boy named Brady living in the house! I have learned how the most simple, basic things in life are what make you the happiest...

Papa Richard's a Racecar Driver!
For the past five or six years my dad has been racing. He has made friends with a gentleman named Dick Sola who owns a full service Chevron station over on State Street in Boise. Dick asked my dad to be a part of his racing team and they spend time each summer racing in both Twin Falls and at the Meridan Speedway. Brady has definitely adopted his Papa's love of cars. This year I decided Brady was old enough to go and watch the races. He absolutely loves it! He is so proud of his papa! He sits in the stands and cheers and yells "go racers! go papa richard! go dick!". The other part he loves about going to the race track is eating licorice rope. We brought our friend Tess along and they had a licorice rope eating contest!

YeeeHaw!!!!
I hadn't been to a rodeo in many, many years. To be honest, rodeo's aren't really my thing. Brady on the other hand loves anything to do with bulls, bucking broncos and cowboys. Because of this, I thought we needed to return to my home town for the Caldwell Night Rodeo! We were lucky enough to get our good friends Isaac and Amber to come along with us. The boys put on their jeans and cowboy boots and were ready to go. Much as I had expected, Brady loved it! After watching for a while, Amber took the boys down for a bathroom break. I was surprised to see them sauntering back up the bleachers in matching cowboy hats!! She had bought one for each of them. They were so cute!
